Welcome to sBGC-hm Database

sBGC-hm is a curated database that maps the biosynthesis gene clusters of secondary metabolites in the human gut microbiome. It contains 36,583 BGCs, with ranthipeptides (27.0%) being the most common type. There are also 1625 NRPSs and 1324 PKSs. The BiG-SCAPE algorithm was used to identify 8,004 families, the largest of which had 186 BGCs.
